Independent Lens Specialists are now able to offer our clients high quality Anti-Reflective coating service.

An entire AR coating systems from SatisLoh allows ILS to offer a range of coating options which includes Full Anti reflective coating, Back surface Anti reflective, and a range of mirror coatings.

Independent Lens are able to do smaller batch runs, quicker than other machines, therefore allowing us to provide a faster service than other laboratories.

Many different materials are able to be coated. Different adhesion, etching and buffer layers are matched to the lens material, this is to ensure that the stack of optical layers that produce the anti-reflection coating will not craze or rub off. This is our assurance that each of the lenses coated with Crystalcoat are of the highest standard in terms of performance and durability.

The Hydrophobic layer is applied to perform two functions, easy clean, repel dust and water.




We’re now able to mirror coat lenses so they take on the same look as the original sunglass lenses. You can get it in full strength mirror or half strength and its available in 4 colours; Blue, Green, Gold and Silver. It is recommended to apply a back surface Anti-Reflective coat, this further reduces the reflections from the back surface of the lens.
